The caves date back to the Muslim era. They used to spend the night in the gypsum quarries, digging holes. They were subsequently occupied by peasants who made the biggest excavation and used them as having many advantages to build a House, for example, and thanks to the clay soil there is a constant in the interior of 19 degrees climate regardless of the outside temperature.
This type of land is only found in a radius of 100 Km de Baza, still possible the construction of caves in this area thanks to the sediments of the great Lake that existed only million ago years.
Our caves are rehabilitated recently, handmade with natural materials so that the caves maintain all their advantages, continue to be perfectly integrated in the environment while preserving the original forms for inside and outside, but have all the necessary comforts of modern life.
